Which type of Grizzly Gunwork are you trying to install?

All Clamp-On Muzzle Brake Styles install and remove the same.
  1. Make sure the firearm is unloaded.
  2. Remove the bolt and magazine from the firearm.
  3. Align the muzzle brake with the barrel, and slide it on until it is flush with the starting of the first muzzle brake chamber (approx. 1 inch).
  4. Remove all 4 machine bolts from the muzzle brake.
  5. Apply Blue Loctite or removable thread locker to all 4 bolts.
  6. Position the GGW and caliber marking at the bottom. The 4 bolt heads should be facing upwards.
  7. Tighten the four fastening bolts to 75 inch pounds.

** Note: Tighten the four bolts gradually, back and forth, and work your way up to 75 inch pounds. Please DO NOT tighten one bolt to 75 and then the other to 75, you have to alternate the bolts while tightening. **

Before Test Firing do the following:
  1. Make sure the firearm is unloaded.
  2. Since your bolt is removed, look through the barrel to make sure it is free from obstruction.
  3. Make sure the muzzle brake bolts are tightened to 75 inch pounds.
  4. Make sure the ammunition you are using, the caliber marked on your firearm and the marking on the bottom of your muzzle brake are all matching.
  5. Always wear ear and eye protection during firing.
How to remove a Grizzly Gunworks Clamp-On Muzzle Brake from your firearm?
  1. Make sure the firearm is unloaded.
  2. Remove the bolt and magazine from the firearm.
  3. Loosen the four fastening bolts.
  4. Slide the muzzle brake off until removed.
